If there was one thing about Rita Mehrens-Schuenemann for you to know, it is that she is passionate in her efforts to help golfers play their best golf.
After teaching golf for a number of years around the country and for many different instructors, schools, and academies, Rita Mehrens Schuenemann, returned home to her roots (Seguin) in San Antonio in 2002. Rita began her golf career in San Marcos, where she was attending Texas State University. Soon after college, Rita moved to Austin, and was hired as the first "female" golf assistant at the beautiful Barton Creek Country Club Resort. It was there, where she met, Legends of the Game, Ben Crenshaw, Kathy Whitworth, Tom Kite, Chuck Cook, and Mr. Harvey Penick. This had a major impact on her playing career so Rita moved to the West Coast, Pacific Palisades, California to play golf on the Player's West tour. Rita later settled in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida to teach for her new mentor and DOI, Mike Adams, at PGA National Golf Academy in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Another "first" in achievements; Rita is an inventor and is the first female golf professional to carry two United States patents for golf training aids. Rita's invention, Star Putter™, the putting tool, has been claimed to have helped PGA, LPGA, Champion's PGA, and D-1 University Champions to win majors and National titles. Star Putter™ is also recognized among PGA Professionals as one of the simplest, most accurate, innovative training aids for putting on the market today. Rita is a resident of San Antonio and lives with husband Mark, daughter, Kathryn, and son Luke. Rita specializes in the art of putting and if you have not had a putting lesson in a while, come see her on the greens of San Pedro.

Travis Salkowski, PGA
Travis’s objective in teaching the golf is to help students improve their skills, continually develop abilities & to have more fun by shooting lower scores, with the easiest set of repeatable motions. Travis stresses the importance of showing a student how to benefit best from a lesson. The student must have an understanding of what will occur during the session and will be given reasons for change. Quoting the great Ben Hogan, “Don’t simply tell a player what he is doing wrong – that’s not much help. You must explain to them what they ought to be doing, why it is correct, and the results it produces.”
Travis approaches all of his lessons, clinics and classes with this enthusiasm and dedication.
All instruction is tailored to the player’s personal golf goals.
