Chef Roy Gomez Jr. is the Head Chef at San Pedro Driving Range and Par 3. Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Chef Roy credits his love for cooking to his grandmother, who taught him how to cook at the age of 12. Chef Roy’s career eventually led him to study under Chef Jeff Wiley, and it was through this mentorship that Chef Roy learned the knowledge, discipline, and respect for the art of cooking.

Chef Roy’s career at the Alamo City Golf Trail began in 2017 as a Snack Bar and Prep Cook. Eventually working up to the role of Head Chef, Chef Roy takes huge pride and puts his heart and passion into creating seasonal menus, working events, and making sure every guest leaves with a smile. In 2021, Chef Roy was nominated as Employee of the Year by the Municipal Golf Association of San Antonio. Finding joy in cooking for others, Chef Roy’s vision for San Pedro Driving Range and Par 3 is to solidify its place on the culinary map.
